Program Overview

AdveniumEd is a unique program developed by Advenium, blending engaging activities with evidence-based therapeutic approaches in group settings. The program includes a variety of activities in categories such as:

Movement
Including dance-assisted activities.
icon
Creative
Featuring art-assisted activities.
icon
Reflective
Incorporating journaling-assisted sessions.
These activities are merged with therapy-driven discussions aimed at improving mental health. The program is crafted with the oversight of clinical staff and supported by tailored session plans and interventions designed specifically for the mental health needs of today’s youth.

AdveniumEd was established to address the increasing need for mental health resources in today’s society.

The world is seeing higher levels of anxiety, depression, conflict, stress, distractibility, and a host of other mental health challenges that prevent people from being the best version of themselves. These challenges have increased in the past decade by 40% (CDC, 2023).
Although much headway has been made in the world of therapy, a long road to complete access to care remains. The social stigma attached to traditional therapy, the limited numbers of qualified mental health providers, and the invasive nature of traditional talk therapy are just a few examples of the barriers to receiving services.

Our Core Mission

We are here to overcome these barriers and bring accessible, high-quality, engaging mental health services to today’s generation. There are currently over 4,000 students in AdveniumEd programs in the Northeast that are benefiting from this unique model weekly. Since 2019, Advenium and AdveniumEd has delivered nearly a million services combined.

Program Administration

AdveniumEd’s team handles the heavy lift—supporting activity selection, registration, group formation, and scheduling. Our staff brings deep experience navigating the unique demands of school-based programming, so your team doesn’t have to go it alone.

AdveniumEd assigns a dedicated Service Coordinator who works directly with your designated school liaison to ensure seamless collaboration.

Group Services

Group-based delivery is the key to reaching more students, more effectively—without overloading your staff.
At AdveniumEd, we deliver structured, evidence-based mental health sessions in small group formats that build connection, reduce stigma, and drive real skill-building. Whether it’s 6th graders working on emotional regulation or 9th graders learning stress management, our model helps students learn together, grow together, and support each other.

Our Curriculum: Designed for Impact

AdveniumEd’s school-based mental health curriculum isn’t just evidence-based — it’s field-tested and thoughtfully crafted by licensed social workers, clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, and former school leaders who understand the realities of today’s classrooms and the complex challenges students face beyond them.

Each AdveniumEd semester combines therapeutic skill-building with engaging, activity-based sessions tailored to real-life challenges students face — from managing anxiety and peer conflict to developing resilience, self-regulation, and executive functioning. Every lesson is structured, accessible, and supported by creative modalities like art and movement, along with reflective practices such as journaling to boost participation and retention.

Assessments and Reporting

At AdveniumEd, data isn’t an afterthought—it’s part of the process.
Ongoing measurement helps us demonstrate program impact, while also showing which elements are driving the most meaningful change.

Students complete brief self-assessments before and after each session using tablets provided by AdveniumEd, and our social work team conducts periodic evaluations to track progress.
